About the event

Come along on Sunday 19th at 2.30pm for a 1.5 hour walk covering about 2 miles around the farm. We will have a close look at the cows and venture over to the species rich flood plain hay meadow to see the Snakeshead Fritilaries which should (fingers crossed) be in flower. Andy will talk out our farming methods, how we mix food production and wildlife, and be on hand to answer any of you questions.

Tea and biscuits will be available at the end, and there will be beef available to buy.

This event is suitable for well behaved children that are under supervision of an adult.

No dogs allowed

Please were wellies or stout footware - there will be uneven ground, and muddy areas

The Rumming family have been farming cattle on the banks of the Thames at Waterhay near Cirencester, and at Lydiard near Swindon for over 60 years.  We provide the highest possible animal welfare which together with the grass fed diet produce superior beef.

Our beef is hung on the bone for 3-4 weeks to give the best flavour and texture, and then expertly butchered and packed in our own on farm butchery.  You can collect the beef fresh or frozen directly from the farms.
