About the event

It's great to be able to offer farm walks once again!  We kick off with a guided walk focusing on our cows and their new calves plus our Snakeshead Fritillaries which should be in flower.  The walk itself will be at a leisurely pace, and cover about 2 miles in around 1.5 hours.  It will all be on foot but with regular stops to look and listen to what's going on.

Wellies or stout shoes are recommended since it is likely to be muddy.  Join us in the farmyard afterwards for a cup of tea and a piece of cake.  Children are welcome but this is a working farm so please keep them under close supervision.  Dogs - I'm afraid we can't accommodate any dogs (unless a guide dog).  If you have any questions do get in contact.  Tickets are free - if you are intending to come please get…

Andy Rummings Beef logo

The Rumming family have been farming cattle on the banks of the Thames at Waterhay near Cirencester, and at Lydiard near Swindon for over 60 years.  We provide the highest possible animal welfare which together with the grass fed diet produce superior beef.

Our beef is hung on the bone for 3-4 weeks to give the best flavour and texture, and then expertly butchered and packed in our own on farm butchery.  You can collect the beef fresh or frozen directly from the farms.
