Our fritillaries are in bloom

April 21, 2016

April so far has been a bit damp and cold but finally our Snakeshead Fritillaries have started to emerge and bloom.  We had 400 in flower at the peak last year, and they started much earlier, this year we only have a handfull at the moment.  Watch the short video to see them in a bit more detail. Also beef  orders are now open to collect in May.  See "choose your beef"above to look at whats on offer.

The Rumming family have been farming cattle on the banks of the Thames at Waterhay near Cirencester, and at Lydiard near Swindon for over 60 years.  We provide the highest possible animal welfare which together with the grass fed diet produce superior beef.

Our beef is hung on the bone for 3-4 weeks to give the best flavour and texture, and then expertly butchered and packed in our own on farm butchery.  Customers then pick up the meat from the farm on our bi monthly pick up morning.  We can arrange delivery by courier for the larger boxes out side of the local area.
