Over the last couple of years we have had a Hare trail in Cirencester. This has been a great community event and the whole family has enjoyed spotting the large and small hares hidden away in shops, churches and other spots. This year the trail is across the whole wider Cotswold area and we have one in Ashton Keynes for which my beef business is one of the sponsors. The artist is Kathryn Gray who has mosaic the whole hare using designs from around the village, as well as masterminding the whole project.

The Rumming family have been farming cattle on the banks of the Thames at Waterhay near Cirencester, and at Lydiard near Swindon for over 60 years.  We provide the highest possible animal welfare which together with the grass fed diet produce superior beef.


Our beef is hung on the bone for 3-4 weeks to give the best flavour and texture, and then expertly butchered and packed in our own on farm butchery.  You can collect the beef fresh or frozen directly from the farms.
