Step into Spring - our first farm walk of the year

Why not spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon visiting our farm? Come and see the cows and their calves, enjoy a walk over the fields to see our fritillaries in bloom, and then join us for a cup of tea in the garden. Its a chance to stretch your legs, find out more about how we farm, see some wildlife and enjoy yourself.

The walk should take about 1.5 hours and cover about 2 miles. If you came last year this is a shorter walk. There is a stile to cross, but don't worry there is a bypass to this if needed. Please wear wellies or stout shoes, its bound to be muddy in places. Families welcome, but sorry, no dogs.

If you want to come please book on line through our events page. This might seem a bit formal but I'm running a range of events this year and this helps me keep track of everyone.

If the weather looks awful I will rearrange the date!

The Rumming family have been farming cattle on the banks of the Thames at Waterhay near Cirencester, and at Lydiard near Swindon for over 60 years.  We provide the highest possible animal welfare which together with the grass fed diet produce superior beef.

Our beef is hung on the bone for 3-4 weeks to give the best flavour and texture, and then expertly butchered and packed in our own on farm butchery.  You can collect the beef fresh or frozen directly from the farms.
